ABOUT THE PSA
We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Association established in 1975 that is dedicated to promoting participation in youth and adult sporting and recreational activities, outdoor education, and community support throughout the area.
We are a fraternal, educational and community service corporation. We promote active participation in outdoor activities, the conservation and protection of the natural resources of Maine, science-based resource management, and education related to outdoor activities in the natural environment. Our lands and facilities are a community resource. We conduct fundraising with community suppers and breakfasts, raffles and through grants from foundations and businesses. We work with other sportsmen's associations, land trusts, and other organizations and individuals to accomplish our objectives.
We focus on introducing local youth to activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try
Our land and facilities are a community resource, and we are proud to provide a meeting space for our community members and host two Veteran Organizations - (VFW Post 7738 and American Legion Post 216).
